My Review of Surprise Ride - Make a Sand Timer Activity Kit

This product is misleading. The picture on the front shows an hourglass, which is what I thought the product would look like. I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. Both of us were disappointed, and I had to buy her a replacement gift. This "project" has two bottles that you attach together with the sand in them. The bottles are not like an hour glass, and the Orange sand gets stuck on the inside of the bottles, so you can't really see anything. Whoever invented this project seemed to be trying to do a lesson plan on time. We didn't need a spinner toy or a 2 minute timer that goes off - or a book about time. We just wanted to make a good hourglass. I've taught kids and this just doesn't cut it. My 6 year old granddaughter figured out what to do but neither one of us liked it. This was the worse Fat Brain purchase I've ever had. I am not interested in buying any other "Surprise Ride" toys.
